This peptide corresponds to 17 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human SH3RF2.
PEP-1127 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-21013.
The SH3RF2 gene encodes a protein that has been shown to possess protein phosphatase 1 binding activity and ubiquitin protein ligase activity. This protein is involved in several cellular processes, including the positive regulation of the JNK cascade, protein autoubiquitination, and regulation of cellular protein metabolic processes. The protein is located in the nucleoplasm and mutations in the SH3RF2 gene have been associated with Ureter Transitional Cell Carcinoma.
