Western blot analysis of extracts from U-251 cells, transfected with: control siRNA, target specific siRNA probe #1, target specific siRNA probe #2, using Adenosine Deaminase Monoclonal Antibody (CL0176) (Product # MA5-24586). Downregulation of antibody signal confirms target specificity. Remaining % intensity, relative control lane, is indicated. Anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody was used as loading control.

Target Information
Catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine. Plays an important role in purine metabolism and in adenosine homeostasis. Modulates signaling by extracellular adenosine, and so contributes indirectly to cellular signaling events. May act as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation.
