Description: VCAM-1 (B-N8) is a mouse monoclonal antibody raised against VCAM-1 ofhuman origin.
B-N8 can be used for functional studies of cell adhesion molecules. BMS141BT can be used for FACS analysis as determined using stimulated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). The antibody can be used to stain aceton-fixed cryostat sections. BMS141 is suitable for ELISA technique.
Applications Tested: Flow Cytometry.
Purity: >95%.
VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases.
