In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CD99-L2 is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CD99 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
CD99L2 may function as a homophilic adhesion molecule. CD99L2 functions in leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions during leukocyte extravasation, and in particular, at the diapedesis step. CD99L2 does not seem to be involved in docking of leukocytes to the vessel wall or in lymphocyte diapedesis.
