CTAGE5 Antibody (500-P255BT-25UG) in ELISA
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human MIA-2 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mL/well) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/mL of CTAGE5 Polyclonal Antibody, Biotin (Product # 500-P255BT-1MG) is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech CTAGE5 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # 500-P255-1MG) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIA-2.

Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIA-2. Anti-Human MIA-2-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human MIA-2 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mL/well) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. Western Blot: To detect Human MIA-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 mg/mL. When used in conjunction with compatible development reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIA-2 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information
CTAGE5/MIA-2 is a secreted cytokine, and a member of the MIA/OTOR family. Members of this family, which also includes MIA, OTOR, and TANGO, share a Src homology-3 (SH3)-like domain. MIA-2 is predominantly expressed in hepatocytes. Elevated levels of MIA-2 may represent a clinically useful marker for diagnosis of hepatic disease activity and severity.
