In Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human CXCL1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12/SDF-1 alpha, 12/SDF-1 beta, 13, recombinant mouse CXCL1, 2, 6, 9, 10, 12/SDF-1 alpha, 13, recombinant rat CXCL1, 3/CINC-2 alpha, 3/CINC-2 beta, or recombinant porcine CXCL8 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
The protein encoded by this gene is an inflammatory chemokine that belongs to the CXC chemokine family. This chemokine is produced concomitantly with interleukin-8 (IL8) in response to stimulation with either interleukin-1 (IL1) or tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFA). This chemokine is a potent chemotaxin involved in neutrophil activation.
