In direct ELISAs, approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Cathepsin B is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) Cathepsin A, rmCathepsin C, and rmCathepsin D is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Cathepsin B is a lysosomal cysteine protease that has been implicated in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystrophy and tumor metastasis.
