EPCR Antibody (PA5-47382) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of EPCR in immersion fixed bEnd.3 mouse endothelioma cell line. Samples were incubated in EPCR polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47382) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 493-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.

In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human EPCR is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease activated by and involved in the blood coagulation pathway. The encoded protein is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein that enhances the activation of protein C. Mutations in this gene have been associated with venous thromboembolism and myocardial infarction, as well as with late fetal loss during pregnancy.
