FUCA2 Antibody (PA5-14672) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of FUCA2 in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue. Samples were incubated with FUCA2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-14672) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
FUCA2 (Alpha-L-fucosidase) catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminal alpha-L-fucosidase linkages in glycosphingolipids and glycoproteins. At least 2 separate polymorphic alpha-L-fucosidases are recognized in man. The FUCA2 locus regulates the level of alpha-fucosidase in plasma and fibroblasts but not in leukocytes. In fucosidosis, deficiency of alpha-L-fucosidase is found in both plasma and leukocytes.
