PA1-73099 has been successfully used in ELISA and WB applications.
The PA1-73099 antibody was raised against Recombinant ectodomain of gp41-glycosylated (a.a. residues 546-682) from strain HxB2.
Gp41 is a glycoprotein, that along with gp120 is integral to the process by which HIV enters the cell. Gp41 is primarily located within the viral envelope, however when gp120 binds to a CD4 receptor, gp120 changes its conformation, causing gp41 to become
