IL15RA Antibody (PA5-46991) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of IL15RA in immersion fixed HDLM‚2 human Hodgkins lymphoma cell line. Samples were incubated in IL15RA polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-46991) using a dilution of 1.7 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.

In direct ELISAs, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-2 R gamma is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
Interleukin 15 (IL-15RA) is a cytokine receptor that specifically binds IL-15 with high affinity. IL-15 regulates T and natural killer cell activation and proliferation. The IL-15 and IL-2 receptors share two subunits, IL-2R beta and IL-2R gamma, and IL-15RA is structurally related to IL-2RA, an additional IL-2-specific alpha subunit necessary for high affinity IL-2 binding. Unlike IL-2RA, IL-15RA is capable of binding IL-15 with high affinity independent of the other subunits. IL-15RA is thought to enhance cell proliferation and expression of apoptosis inhibitor Bcl-xL and Bcl-2.
