FIGURE: 1 / 1
Description: The CRM17 antibody reacts with human interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA). IL-1RA is produced by macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, synovial and dermal fibroblasts. The 17 kDa soluble form of IL-1RA (sIL-1RA) is produced by hepatocytes. IL-1RA inhibits the release of both forms of IL-1, the secretion of IL-2, and the expression of IL-2 receptors on the cell surface. IL-1RA also blocks the stimulation of prostaglandin E2 synthesis in synovial cells and the proliferation of thymocytes.
Applications Reported:The CRM17 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining with flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Has been pre-titrated and tested. This can be used at test size: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine receptor that belongs to the interleukin 1 receptor family. This protein is a receptor for interleukin alpha (IL1A), interleukin beta (IL1B), and interleukin 1 receptor, type I(IL1R1/IL1RA). It is an important mediator involved in many cytokine induced immune and inflammatory responses. This gene along with interleukin 1 receptor, type II (IL1R2), interleukin 1 receptor-like 2 (IL1RL2), and interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 (IL1RL1) form a cytokine receptor gene cluster in a region mapped to chromosome 2q12.
