MA1-10037 detects Lys20 (MW 47.1kDa) and Lys21 (MW 48.6kDa) from S. cerevisiae samples, which appears as a closely-spaced doublet on Western blots.
Lys20 and Lys21 are two isozymes of yeast homocitrate synthase. Both proteins are localized to the nucleoplasm of the nucleus and share 90% homology.
