Invitrogen
Preparation: This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Mouse CD226 (DNAM-1) (Met1-Pro254) and conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, the unreacted FITC was removed.
Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2C-8C for twelve months without detectable loss of activity. Protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze! Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Flush with large volumes of water during disposal.
DNAM 1 is a receptor expressed by peripheral blood T lymphocytes that is involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. DNAM 1 is broadly expressed on T cells, NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of B cells. DNAM-1 is also expressed by a subset of CD3 positive thymocytes.
