Western blot analysis of Prokineticin 1 in, Lane 1: mouse liver tissue lysates, Lane 2: mouse spleen tissue lysates. Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel) / 90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. Target Information
Endocrine gland-derived vascular endothelial growth factor induces proliferation, migration, and fenestration in capillary endothelial cells derived from endocrine glands. Its expression is induced by hypoxia and is restricted to the steroidogenic glands. Its expression is often complementary to the expression of VEGF, suggesting that these molecules function in a coordinated manner.
