PA1-4183 detects Respiratory Syncytial Virus M2 Protein from infected samples.
PA1-4183 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot this antibody detects a ~20 kDa protein representing RSV M2 in infected HEp-2 cells.
The PA1-4183 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues L(81) E S Y I G S I N NI T K Q S A(95) of the human RSV M2 protein, which is a CTL epitope. This sequence is 93% conserved in bovine.
