Immunocytochemistry analysis of RTN3 in PC-12 cells. Cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes at 37 , permeabilized with 0.05% Triton X-100 in PBS for 20 minutes, and then blocked with 2% negative goat serum for 30 minutes at room temperature. Target Information
RTN3 is a member of reticulons, which are associated with the endoplasmic reticulum, and are involved in neuroendocrine secretion or in membrane trafficking in neuroendocrine cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Multiple promoters rather than alternative splicing of internal exons seem to be involved in this diversity.
