Immunohistochemistry: Human breast carcinoma (FFPE) stained with Mouse anti-Surfactant Protein A (SP-A) (Clone ZY479) (Cat# ) at 1:200 for 10 min @ RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissue requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

Target Information
Surfactant protein A is an innate immune system collectin. The gene encoding SP-A map to mouse chromosome 14. Surfactant protein-A, which plays a role in innate host defense in the lung, is also expressed in the Eustachian tube. We report that the frequency of specific surfactant protein-A haplotypes and genotypes differs between children with recurrent otitis media compared with a control population.
