c-Rel Antibody (A301-826A) in WB
Detection of human c-Rel by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and 293T (T; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-c-Rel antibody A301-826A used for WB at 0.4 µg/ml (A) and 1 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. c-Rel was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-c-Rel antibody A301-825A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A and B).

Target Information
The REL gene encodes c-Rel, a transcription factor that is a member of the Rel/NFKB family, which also includes RELA., RELB (604758), NFKB1, and NFKB2. These proteins are related through a highly conserved N-terminal region termed the 'Rel domain, ' which is responsible for DNA binding, dimerization, nuclear localization, and binding to the NFKB inhibitor (Belguise and Sonenshein, 2007).
