Therapeutic drug monitoring research (TDM) is important due to its impact on treatments and disease management. TDM research of antidepressants is critical to ensure compliance and to rule out pharmacokinetic abnormalities such as rapid metabolizer genotype or drug interactions.
Therefore, new, reliable monitoring methods are essential for the optimization of drug therapies. While most of the current mass spectrometry methods use a triple quadrupole mass analyser, in this webinar we will discuss development of an analytical research method for the quantitation of 31 antidepressants using a high resolution Orbitrap mass spectrometer.
