The Thermo Scientific Heraguard ECO clean bench delivers outstanding product protection, energy efficiency and user comfort. Dual DC motors and advanced airflow design provide advanced protection, quiet operation and low impact to the lab environment. Our clean benches meet ISO class 5 minimum conditions achieved in the work area and EU GMP Grade A work environment. They are available in four sizes: 900 mm, 1200 mm, 1500 mm, or 1800 mm (1800 mm size with optional extra height).

1 DC Motors

2 Optional UV Light 

Fitted into the top of the workspace, the UV light disinfects the work area.

4 Windscreen protection (optional)

Built to be easily flipped down when the clean bench is in use, the windscreen protects users against the dry purified air.
 

5 Easy prefilter exchange 

The prefilter on the intake side can be changed by hand, without the need for tools. Prefilter exchange is made economical and easy.

Horizontal laminar flow

Clean benches provide a clean (aseptic) space to work with a product or specimen without contaminating it with particles such as micro-organisms. They protect the product, they do not protect the user or the environment.

Horizontal laminar flow

Air is pulled in from the top and passes through a pre-filter, before it is then pushed through the HEPA filter. A horizontal laminar flow is produced within the work area. The laminar flow (unidirectional flow) helps protect the product from the worker and also contamination from the environment. The work area becomes a (positively pressurized) particle free aseptic clean zone which is being continually bathed in clean air.
