lacZ-negative (NIH 3T3) and lacZ-positive (CRE BAG 2) cells loaded with 1 µg/mL CMFDG by diffusion or by the Influx™ pinocytic cell-loading reagent (Cat. No. I14402), which is also a component of the DetectaGene™ Green CMFDG lacZ Gene Expression Kit (Cat. No. D2920). The Influx™ reagent allows for better cytoplasmic distribution of CMFDG, resulting in a uniform signal in lacZ-positive cells. Images were acquired using a bandpass filter appropriate for fluorescein.
