Staining with Arg-CMAC.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae vacuolar lumen stained with 7-amino-4-chloromethylcoumarin, L-arginine amide (Arg-CMAC), available in our Yeast Vacuole Marker Sampler Kit (Cat. No. Y7531). This kit contains three additional fluorescent vacuolar lumen stains plus a green-fluorescent vacuolar membrane stain. After staining, yeast were viewed by epifluorescence and DIC microscopy.
