Piero Gardinali, Ph.D., Professor of Chemistry, Florida International University,Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Marine Sciences Program
Dr. Gardinali received his Ph.D in Oceanography and chemical analysis in 1996 from Texas A&M University. Today he is a full professor of chemistry in the Marine Sciences Program at Florida International University. He is also the current Co-Director of Southeast Research Center. Dr. Gardinali's research focuses on studies regarding the origin, fate and transport of anthropogenic organic compounds in freshwater and coastal environments.
