The Thermo Fisher Scientific Jump start promotion ("Promotion") is offered by Thermo Fisher Scientific ("Thermo Fisher Scientific"), Marketing Department, 102 Fountain Crescent, Inchinnan Business Park, Paisley, PA4 9RE, United Kingdom to eligible customers ("Purchasers") subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. This Promotion is open to customers in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom only who are new to the Jump Start programme and who are setting up a new lab in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

2. Determination of eligibility is at the sole discretion of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Submissions will be checked and verified. Customers will be contacted (within 2 weeks) to advise if their submission has been accepted.  

3. Eligibility criteria: Opening a new laboratory within your current institution or company, relocating to a new space or starting a new company. Healthcare organisations and healthcare professionals may not participate in this Promotion. Government officials may not participate in this Promotion.

How to enter: complete the form at thermofisher.com/jumpstart and submit to Thermo Fisher Scientific no later than 31st December 2024. 

4. If submission has been accepted, a bespoke quote will be created and issued to the Purchaser which can take up to 3 weeks. Acceptance on the Jump Start programme will entitle Purchasers a discount of up to 50% on selected Bioscience products – please check with your local sales representative which products are included and applicable discounts. Discount will apply to the list price of the relevant product in effect at the time the order is received by Thermo Fisher Scientific. All sales are subject to Thermo Fisher Scientific standard terms and conditions of sale and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. This Promotion can only be used once and once a quote has been issued, customer will have 48 days from date of issue to use.

5. Thermo Fisher Scientific reserves the right to disqualify any Purchaser reasonably believed to have breached, undermined or subverted in any way the legitimate operation of this Promotion, whether by deceptive or wilful activity or otherwise.

6. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that entering this Promotion does not conflict with internal rules and regulations within their organisation. In particular, and without limiting the foregoing, Purchaser warrants that his/her employers have full knowledge of their actions and have consented thereto. Thermo Fisher Scientific cannot be held responsible for any dispute within an organisation with regards to which individual should be allocated the Gift, nor can Thermo Fisher Scientific be held responsible for any defect in any Gift awarded.

7. By participating in this Promotion, Purchaser agrees to accept liability for any tax or duty due or payable as a result of qualifying for a Gift and to waive all rights to claim against Thermo Fisher Scientific and its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents in respect of any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion (including but not limited to the receipt, use, or misuse of any Gift or any component thereof but excluding any death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Thermo Fisher Scientific).

8. Promotion void where prohibited by law or company policy. Other restrictions may apply. Please note that the value of the specific offer(s) the customer may receive from the manufacturer under this program can be considered as a gift or an advantage, and as a result pursuant to applicable local law, it could give rise to declaration, notification, publication or reporting. The Purchaser warrants it will comply with any local law relating to transparency, as the case may be.

9. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, force majeure, or any other cause beyond the control of Thermo Fisher Scientific, which may corrupt or affect administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Thermo Fisher Scientific reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

10. The laws of England and Wales will apply to this Promotion and the relevant courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the Promotion.
