Thermo Scientific TDE Series ultra-low temperature chest freezers, powered by H-drive, feature three sizes, maximizing storage capacity from 3,645 up to 21,600 2mL vials. The TDE Series is available in 3, 13 and 20 cu. ft. sizes, suitable to meet the needs of virtually any size lab. Each chest freezer is a sustainable and reliable solution with ultimate sample security and operational savings.
A typical ultra-low temperature freezer door will be opened 2 to 4 times per day, but in some cases, upwards of 20 times per day. Door openings place a substantial heat load burden upon the freezer. With recovery times as quick as one minute for a one-minute door opening, the new Thermo Scientific TDE Series ultra-low temperature chest freezers are ideal for high-use laboratory environments where keeping temperature is critical for sample integrity.
All Thermo Scientific TDE Series ultra-low temperature chest freezers are manufactured in a zero-waste facility and are built with natural refrigerants and polyurethane foam with non-HFC blowing agent having zero GWP insulation, compliant with the U.S. EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP), and the European Union’s F-Gas compliances and other sustainability standards.
Internal dimensions of the new TDE Series chest freezers remain unchanged, allowing for maximum storage capacity with existing Thermo Scientific chest racks.
User interface with high-contrast, easy-to-use display. The UI is easy-to-read and is visible from a distance. An integrated USB port located beneath the user interface offers more convenient data download for serviceability.
