Minimize brand damage and achieve maximum product recovery with Thermo Scientific Product Assurance Services & Solutions (PASS). This service is available to customers in the UK and Europe.
PASS is an off-line product and food safety inspection service used to detect contaminants and other defects found in packaged foods. Our highly experienced staff uses the most advanced Thermo Scientific food-grade X-Ray, Metal Detection, and Check Weighing systems to thoroughly test every package to help maximize the recovery of in-spec products for distribution and eliminate defective products. PASS can detect ferrous, nonferrous, stainless steel metals, glass, stone, bone, PVC based plastics and rubber, and other dense contaminants, often at greater sensitivity than equipment on the production line.
Full service food safety inspection can be done at one of our PASS locations or at your facility. PASS is also available as a self-service option through our equipment rental program.
