Straightforward run set-up

Setting up a multiwell plate sampling run using the Attune NxT software is simple. Using a virtual plate layout view, you can create compensation wells, define instrument settings, and identify samples. The software also allows you to define multiple experiments on a single plate and recover unused sample (for samples collected or acquired in tube mode only).

The intuitive software is easy to use and enables quick data analysis. For example, a heat-map view allows rapid screening and confirmation of samples while the instrument is acquiring data.

flow cytometer heat map

Attune NxT Autosampler heat map function identifies variation within a parameter across a 96-well plate. Live and heat-killed THP-1 cells were stained with propidium iodide and dispensed into a 96-well plate. Samples were applied to the Attune NxT flow cytometer using the Attune Nxt Autosampler. Heat map (indigo correlating with live cells and red with dead cells) and numeric overlay text provide real-time feedback on the assay being performed.

Reliable utility for diverse applications

Automation helps maximize reproducibility between experiments and reduces inter-assay variability and inter-operator variability. By demonstrating low CVs across and through plates, the Attune NxT Flow Cytometer with Autosampler offers a reliable and high-throughput approach for multiparametric cell screening with 96- and 384-well plates, allowing for less sample quantities to maximize the efficient use of a limited numbers of cells. This combination of higher-throughput with higher-content flow cytometric analysis of as many as 16 parameters for each cell with acquisition speeds of up to 1 mL/min provides a powerful screening platform for drug discovery and systems biology experiments. See some examples of applications enabled by Attune NxT Flow Cytometer with Autosampler below.
