Optimized, semi-automated manual plate reading system for AST

The Thermo Scientific Sensititre Vizion Digital MIC Viewing System is a semi-automated solution that helps microbiology laboratories accurately and efficiently read and record minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) readings from Sensititre antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) plates.

 

Simply place your MIC plate into the loading tray and use the customizable lighting options to calibrate optimally to your microorganism type. The Vizion System displays a digital plate image from which you can select MIC values onscreen within a predefined supportive template. The system increases traceability and reduces manual reading and recording errors.

 

The Vizion System stores MIC plate images in the powerful Thermo Scientific Sensititre SWIN Software, which also offers immediate data review, expert interpretation via an Expert System, and optional LIS/LIMS connectivity to expedite access to results and facilitate faster decision-making. With this instrument, you can even consolidate offline testing onto one platform for maximum efficiency.
