The Thermo Scientific GM-5000 is a real-time air quality monitor that helps governments and industries in need of a cost effective monitoring network to measure pollutant levels. It is an industrial designed sensor-based instrument capable of full calibration, individual user interface and temperature control to ensure data quality and traceability.
Effectively monitor PM2.5, PM10, O3, NO, NO2,, SO2, CO and t-VOC within popular applications such as smart cities, traffic pollution, public health protection, industrial fence line monitoring, petro chemical locations and more.
The GM-5000 Air Quality Monitor was designed to measure criteria pollutant levels and withstand extreme weather variables. The unit incorporates laser based particle counting for particulate measurement and electrochemical sensing and photoionization detector for gas measurement and provides unattended monitoring with continuous real-time data transmission to a central location and/or internal memory. High quality hardware and factory calibration includes temperature control with heated tube and inlet cooling to stabilize at 35˚C.
The GM-5000 Air Quality Monitor can connect to a device via WiFi or Cellular communication. The data may be viewed on a computer, tablet or phone running a standard browser. The same data is stored locally on a micro SD card and may be retrieved through a browser.
When connected over Ethernet or cellular the instrument will stream reports automatically at a user defined rate, as fast as one report per minute.
When connected over WiFi, users can download or export reports whenever needed. WiFi connection also allows users to interact with a Command Line Interface (CLI). It is an option to build a program that connects over WiFi and then polls the instrument data at maximum rate of 1 request per 10 seconds.
The GM-5000 Air Quality Monitor contains sophisticated instrument firmware that includes RH filtering, temp compensation, on-board diagnostics, and will minimize different gas interference. The independent browser based user interface allows for full control of instrument configuration and setup via Wifi or over VPN. All calibration parameters can be displayed and/or edited.
Routine service and calibration will keep your instruments up and running and maintain data accuracy.
