This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-61463. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
The dickkopf protein family interacts with the Wnt signaling pathway and its members are characterized by two conserved cysteine-rich domains. This gene encodes a secreted protein that has high similarity to the N-terminus of the dickkopf-3 protein and moderate similarity to that protein's C-terminus though the C-terminal cysteine residues are not conserved.
