This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-64428. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RAB14. Component of an endocytic recycling pathway that is required for the control of ADAM10 transport, shedding of N-cadherin/CDH2 by ADAM9 or ADAM10 and regulation of cell-cell junctions. Required for RAB14 recruitment to recycling endosomes.
