This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62350. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
PYHIN1 belongs to the HIN200 family of interferon-inducible proteins that share a 200-amino acid signature motif at their C-terminal ends. HIN200 proteins are primarily nuclear and are involved in transcriptional regulation of genes important for cell cycle control, differentiation, and apoptosis.
