The detailed process of detecting and investigating evidence often requires sophisticated analytical techniques like Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. With its ability to detect and identify substances on a molecular level, FTIR spectroscopy has proven to be an invaluable resource to anybody looking for clues about the presence of pharmaceuticals, narcotics, or a variety of other chemicals.
Watch this webinar, available on demand, to get an overview of what FTIR is, how it works, and how an instrument like the new Thermo Scientific Nicolet Apex FTIR Spectrometer can help reveal hidden information that could be a difference-maker in forensic investigations.
