Microtubules visualized with Oregon Green® 488 paclitaxel.

Microtubules were assembled, stabilized and visualized with the aid of green-fluorescent Oregon Green® 488 paclitaxel (Cat. no. P22310). Viable HeLa cells were incubated with the conjugate for one hour, followed by several washes with phosphate-buffered saline containing 2% bovine serum albumin. The image was acquired using a confocal laser-scanning microscope and a filter set appropriate for fluorescein.
