TH22 cells are a CD4+ cell subset dedicated to the production of IL-22, an IL-10 family member. Maturation of TH22 cells requires TNFα and IL-6. High numbers of TH22 cells have been found in the epidermis of inflammatory skin disorders and they are believed to be important at other barrier interfaces.

Relevant recombinant proteins

    • Necessary for the maintenance of Th22 cells in vitro
  • TNF-alpha
    • Necessary for induction and maintenance of Th22 cells in vitro
    • Associated with both pro and anti-inflammatory activities of T cells including Th22 cells
