Endogenous alkaline phosphatase activity of osteosarcoma cells. ELF® 97 Endogenous Phosphatase Detection Kit and Hoechst 33342.

Endogenous alkaline phosphatase enzyme of osteosarcoma cells localized with the ELF® 97 Endogenous Phosphatase Detection Kit (Cat. no. E6601). Unlike other phosphatase substrates, the unique ELF® 97 phosphatase substrate forms a fluorescent precipitate at the site of enzymatic activity. The blue-fluorescent nucleic acid stain Hoechst 33342 (Cat. no. H1399, H3570, H21492) was used as a counterstain to the green fluorescence of the ELF® 97 alcohol precipitate. The double-exposure image was acquired using a bandpass filter set appropriate for ELF® 97 alcohol and a longpass filter set appropriate for DAPI.
