The relative photobleaching rates of fluorescein and Texas Red® fluorophores with buffer alone or after treatment with the ProLong® antifade reagent.

The relative photobleaching rates of fluorescein and Texas Red® fluorophores with buffer alone (right series) or after treatment with the ProLong® antifade reagent (left series). Bovine pulmonary artery endothelial cells were fixed, permeabilized and labeled with Texas Red®-X phalloidin (Cat. no. T7471), which labels F-actin, and with a mouse monoclonal anti–ß-tubulin antibody and fluorescein goat anti–mouse IgG antibody (Cat. no. F2761), which label microtubules. Images were acquired at appropriate wavelengths using a cooled CCD camera.
