Description: The monoclonal mouse IgG1 K immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications Reported: This P3.6.2.8.1 antibody has been reported for use in immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical staining.
Applications Tested: This Mouse IgG1 K Isotype Control eFluor® 570 has been tested by immunocytochemistry on fixed and permeabilized MDCK cells and by immunohistochemistry (IHC-P) on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded human brain tissue. Use isotype control at the same concentration as experimental antibody.
Filter Recommendation: When using this eFluor® 570 antibody conjugate, we recommend a filter that will capture the 570 emission wavelength (for example, Excitation 545/25, 565LP, Emission 605/70). A standard Alexa Fluor® 555 or TRITC filter is acceptable.
Excitation: 555 nm; Emission: 570 nm
Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG1 is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG1 is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
