Pharma

The critical parameters of process-safe liquids analysis in the pharmaceutical industry are pH, oxygen, and conductivity.

Deviations from given measurement values could have an impact on production results. A broad portfolio of sensors, process analysers, holders and fittings, cleaning and calibration systems allows us to offer tailor-made solutions and services.

The pharmaceutical sensors must be sterilisable in place (SIP) and cleanable in place (CIP). We provide a wide range of advanced Memosens sensors from Knick that can be easily connected to the MemoSuite advanced asset management tool. This system helps track changes in the process or measurement and ensures that data cannot be manipulated.

Chemical

Oxygen is highly corrosive; even minimal concentrations in the ppm range can corrode metal surfaces.  Increased conductivity is a reliable indication of contamination from salts, minerals, and other contaminants.  Mineral deposits and corrosion reduce efficiency and lead to the premature wear of system components. Also, deposits of lime or corrosion provide a platform for organic material and biofilm.

Portable meters

The first portables with Memosens technology for measuring pH / ORP, conductivity, and oxygen comes from Knick - the only provider of mobile, portable meters for hazardous locations.

Suitable for use in industry, in the lab, for environmental protection, food processing, and water or wastewater treatment, the Portavo range of meters feature a graphical colour display, data logger, USB port, and Li-ion battery.
