QED Environmental offers a range of total fluid pumping options to give flexibility to well construction and size QED pumping options. These come in various sizes starting at 50 mm wells, and some are designed for angled holes such as slope risers. Our products are all designed to last in the harshest environments with the highest safety standards in mind.
Note: AP4 range has options for high temp and harsh environments such as Solvents and burning landfills if required.

The SPG skimmer has a variety of additional inlet ports to allow a greater reduction of the oil lens. These ports can be opened and plugged as desired. SPG heads can also handle a thicker product over the SOS skimmer. | The SOS skimmer head has a hydrophobic element in it which stops water ingress even when submerged a short distance. QED skimmers work on compressed drive gas (air, nitrogen, etc) to displace the product it has collected via a skimming head designed to float at the water/hydrocarbon interface.
Genie pumps use an internal bladder to create suction, drawing the hydrocarbon into the pump. Combo pumps allow the hydrocarbon to flow into a bottom chamber via a floating skimming head which, when full, discharges its contents. This saves drive gas and, coupled with a cycle counter, gives a good recovery rate data.
Leachate/total fluid pumps are especially designed to handle the variety of liquids found within a landfill and other contaminated sites. These pumps are designed to pump them to a surface holding pond or tank where they can be treated further prior to disposal. These pumps only discharge when full (internal float system) and are fully pneumatic. Options like the slider will need surface control due to the angle they are installed at. Pumps can be operated under a vacuum if gas extraction is active on site or soil vapour extraction is also occurring on site.
