Why trade up to a Gallery Discrete Analyzer?

You know the ins and outs of your lab’s wet chemical analysis workflow better than anyone else. More than likely, you have a running list of bottlenecks in your existing wet chemical analysis workflow that you would like to work out. Perhaps you already know the way to accelerate your work is to upgrade to the latest technology or even switch vendors altogether. However, making that leap can seem like an enormous commitment. And yet, for every reason you may have to hang on to your current instruments, there is a list of reasons to trade up to the latest we have to offer. The following is just a glimpse of the benefits you can expect.

Enhanced ease of use

  • Anyone can perform the required wet chemical analyses regardless of their chemistry background
  • Workflow-based operation suitable for all users’ levels
  • Built-in barcode readers for samples and reagents
  • Pre-defined, ready-to-use methods
  • More than 50 ready-to-use enzymatic and colorimetric reagents
  • Automated calibration from single stock standard
  • Automatic dilution of over range samples
  • Contamination-free analysis using disposable cuvettes

Reduced total cost of ownership

  • Xenon source lamp – savings over lifetime of the instrument
  • Ready-to-use Gallery system reagents eliminate time-consuming reagent preparation and saves operator time
  • Reduced cost per analysis – the unique low volume cuvette design guarantees smallest reagent consumption, 2-240μL, minimizes reagent waste, and as a result reduces reagent costs
  • Required reagent volumes can be up to 15 times smaller when compared to manual methods
  • Increase throughput with fully automated workflows

Confidence in your results

  • Reduce the risk of rerunning samples due to carry over effect with true discrete measurement and disposable cuvettes
  • Ready-to-use system reagents save technician time and reduces preparation errors, ensuring confidence in the quality of results
  • Each vessel is bar coded with all the necessary data including reagent identification, volume, lot, and expiration date
  • Built-in barcode reader for sample and reagents improves the traceability and continuously monitors the reagent consumptions and provides real-time reagent information
  • Measurements cover a large concentration range with excellent reproducibility – sensitivity to the ppb level
  • Fulfill regulatory method needs

Walkaway efficiency

  • Gallery discrete analyzers, together with ready-to-use system reagents, makes the overall wet chemical analysis simple, accurate and reliable
  • All necessary analysis steps are automated, providing true walk-away time for the operator
  • It is a fully integrated walkaway solution: the testing workflow is easy to learn, and it can be left unattended, improving throughput, system uptime and staff productivity

High-throughput discrete analyzer

  • True direct-read discrete analyzer
  • Increased throughput with a sample capacity of up to 350 photometric tests/hour
  • Optional ECM unit for parallel pH and conductivity measurement – up to 67 measurements/hour
  • Twelve filter positions – covering a wide spectral range from 340 to 880 nm
  • Up to 20 different chemical parameters per sample
  • Continuous access to samples, reagents, and cuvettes without interruption of routine workflow

FAQs

The value of your current discrete analyzer and FIA system will be evaluated by trained Thermo Fisher Scientific personnel based on type of instrument, age and condition. We’ll ask you some questions on the history of your system in order to provide an accurate estimate on its value.

Most discrete analyzer and FIA systems are eligible for a trade-in credit. Eligible systems include, but are not limited to:

  • Thermo Scientific Arena 20, Arena 20XT, Arena 30 and Arena 60
  • Thermo Scientific Aquakem 200, Aquakem 250, Aquakem 600
  • Konelab Aqua and Konelab Arena
  • Other vendor discrete analyzer and flow injection analyzer systems

Please note that the discrete analyzer system must include at least photometer with four filter positions, dispensing probes, an incubator to control the reaction temperature and a mixer to be eligible. The flow injection analyzer must be at least two channel system with an injector, autosampler and detectors. Stand-alone modules, for instance, are not eligible.

The value of the system traded in will be dependent on type, age and condition.

We are no longer removing used systems for the lab as part of the program. Your system will be used to determine eligibility and the credit value toward your new instrument purchase. You can then keep or dispose of your used system at your discretion.

We have your back on method transfer and training with specialized staff who can give you a helping hand. Do not hesitate to reach out to your local sales contact for details.

These promotions are available to customers in Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
