When I upgrade BioPharma Finder will I lose my old results, protein sequence and processing methods?

No. When upgrading to a newer version of BioPharma Finder, DO NOT uninstall the older version before installing the current version. During the installation of the new version, the software will automatically detect the older version and make a backup copy of your old results. Then, it will uninstall the old software, install the newer version, and upgrade all of your information.The backup can be deleted or removed from your computer once you have confirmed the backup was successful.

Where are my BioPharma Finder results saved?

All of the results, sequences and processing methods are saved onto the PC which the software is installed into a Mogo database. The database is automatically installed when the software is installed.

Peptide Mapping and Top Down results are saved automatically while manual intact deconvolution results must be saved by the user. However, if you process intact deconvolution experiments using the queue, the results will be saved automatically.
