Thermo Scientific ART universal pipette tips deliver consistent and reliable protection from aerosol contamination and cross-contamination. With its advanced proprietary self-sealing barrier, the tip provides protection against liquid and aerosol contamination. ART universal tips are also compatible with a wide range of pipettes and come in non-filtered and specialty varieties including gel-loading, wide-bore, and low-retention.
ART tips differ from traditional filter tips. The self-sealing barrier swells and shuts down, completely preventing liquid samples and aerosols from contacting the pipette nose cone, helping protect the pipette and subsequent samples from cross contamination.
ART tips offer a low-retention option. The surface minimizes retention and helps ensure the maximum amount of liquid is transferred during pipetting. The low-retention feature also reduces the residual droplets clinging to the inside of the tips, enabling reliable and reproducible results.
