Question

How do I set up the data logging feature on iSeries instruments so that I can download the information as needed using iPort?

Answer

The Thermo Scientific™ Series instruments include a built-in data logging capability.  The operator is allowed to create two different types of records, lrecs and srecs. Each record can contain up to 32 different fields or data items, and records can be created ranging from 1 to 60 minutes. This data can be easily accessed and downloaded through Thermo Scientific™ iPort software.
