Our singleplex kit workflow was developed for use on the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5 or 7500 real time PCR systems. The kit utilizes Applied Biosystems TaqMan Assay technology, enabling specific, sensitive, and accurate results.

* Although the singleplex kit has “2019-nCoV” in its product name, the kit is able to detect the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen. The kit was named and catalogued prior to recent WHO naming updates.
The TaqMan 2019-nCoV Assay Kit v1 (singleplex) features assays specifically targeted to all >100 complete genomes currently available at GISAID, and do not target any of the 2,116 complete genomes of other coronaviruses currently available at NCBI.
