For a fuller rheological characterization of polymeric materials, the HAAKE MARS 40/60 Rheometers can be accessorized to perform DMTA. Use the resulting data to identify characteristic phase transitions such as melting, crystallization or glass transition as well as determine final product performance and key properties such as stiffness, brittleness, damping or impact resistance.
Extensional flow occurs during many technical processes such as spraying, filling, etc., related to polymer melts, film blowing, foam extrusion or fiber spinning.
