Invitrogen gel documentation systems accommodate a wide range of samples and support different modes of detection. Find the right features for your needs in our full line of gel doc systems.
Safer visualization of nucleic acids- the blue or green LED transillumination in all Invitrogen gel documentation systems can be used to visualize fluorescent nucleic acid stains such as Invitrogen SYBR Green, Invitrogen SYBR Safe, and Invitrogen SYBR Gold as well as ethidium bromide. In addition, fluorescent protein stains such as SYPRO Orange and SYPRO Tangerine can be visualized.
Simplified DNA and RNA analysis- Invitrogen E-Gel precast gels are self-contained and ready to use; no gels to pour, buffers to make or staining or destaining steps to perform. Combined with the integrated design of Invitrogen Power Snap for the added convenience of rapid, real-time nucleic acid electrophoresis with the precision of high-resolution image capture to reduce workflow time and accelerate discovery.
High-resolution imaging- All iBright Imaging Systems feature a 9.1 MP camera paired with Smart Exposure technology, which rapidly determines optimal exposure time, minimizing the potential for over- or underexposed images and the need to repeat exposures to get the desired signal.
Multiplex western blotting- the iBright FL1500 system is equipped with 5 fluorescent channels for multiplexing with up to 4 different fluorophores, both in the visible (RBG) and near-infrared (N-IR) fluorescent range. Capture blots containing multiple signals, such as chemiluminescence, fluorescence, colorimetric stains, and/or visible images under Universal mode.
Advanced easy-to-use software- free simple software to analyze your images. Compatible with both MAC and Windows operating systems.
The all-in-one Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis System is designed for fast and convenient E-Gel agarose gel electrophoresis, from DNA sample loading to gel image. With dry precast E-Gel agarose gel technology, you can run DNA samples in as little as 10 minutes and observe sample separation in real time. It is the only benchtop system that seamlessly integrates DNA sample separation and gel imaging into one workflow.
The E-Gel Imager System offers a safe, affordable, personal gel imaging system for documenting and analyzing agarose gels and E-Gel cassettes. The system has a compact design with a small footprint. Each E-Gel Imager System includes a sleek and compact camera hood and one or more interchangeable bases, along with two powerful software programs.
The multiple bases allow flexibility to use multiple gel stains such as ethidium bromide and many of the SYBR dyes (e.g., SYBR Safe dye). The E-Gel adaptor base has been designed to provide power to the E-Gel iBase system, which allows real-time image capture as samples are running on the gel. The E-Gel Imager System is a cost-effective must-have for today’s life science researcher.
Capture images and analyze data from western blots and gels efficiently and easily with the Invitrogen iBright Imaging System. These high-performance instruments enhance the imaging experience through powerful hardware, advanced automated technologies, and an interface that is easy to use for researchers of all experience levels.
The iBright FL1500 Imaging System supports the main imaging applications of fluorescent, chemiluminescent, and colorimetric western blots, in addition to fluorescent stained nucleic acid gels, fluorescent stained protein gels, colorimetric stained protein gels, and colorimetric membrane stains. The iBright CL1500 Imaging System, which features the same imaging capabilities as the iBright FL1500 Imaging System, but without fluorescent western blot imaging functionality.
The Safe Imager 2.0 Blue-Light Transilluminator offers a less toxic way to view your gels and dramatically increase cloning efficiency by causing minimal DNA damage. The Safe Imager 2.0 transilluminator produces monochromatic, visible blue light that is optimal for excitation of SYBR Safe DNA Gel Stain and other blue light–excitable nucleic acid and protein stains.
This Dual LED Blue/White Light Transilluminator is an innovatively designed dual-light source transilluminator. It is designed for visualization of nucleic acid gels, protein gels, and membrane stains.
