Ducted Fume Hoods

Explore TopAir ducted fume hoods

Fume hoods protect laboratory staff from noxious fumes released by acids, dangerous gases, and organic solutions. Harmful and unpleasant chemical fumes are removed from the controlled environment to facilitate a safe and pleasant work environment. Ducted fume hoods channel chemical vapours out of the building using an external fan installed on the roof or on an external wall. TopAir fume hoods can be customised to any size to suit your needs.

Active polypropylene fume hood

TopAir active polypropylene fume hoods are a high-quality system enhanced with innovative technology. The fume hood features a sensor which detects staff standing next to the unit, and accordingly opens and closes the sash automatically.

Variable airflow technology allows the unit’s fan speed to adjust according to the sash position, reducing energy consumption and noise. Upon a failure, the whole interior of the cabinet lights up with a red light, so that staff—including people with hearing issues—can easily detect the failure from a distance.
