What Thermo Scientific™ product areas will be added to lifetechnologies.com on January 26, 2015?

On January 26, 2015, customers will find a larger range of product information and technical resources incorporating Thermo Scientific antibodies, protein, and molecular biology products, all in one place. Thermo Scientific products will not be orderable through lifetechnologies.com. Customers will still be required to purchase these products through your existing sales or dealer channels.

If I am a Life Technologies™ product customer, what do I need to do before January 26 to ensure I can continue to order these Thermo Scientific™ products?

If you are a current Life Technologies™ customer, you do not need to do anything. New and existing customers of lifetechnologies.com can still buy their Life Technologies™ products online. Sign in or create an account to begin ordering. Starting January 26, to find out where to purchase specific Thermo Scientific™ products, click the “Learn where to buy” link on the product pages and tables shown throughout the website. Thermo Scientific™ products will not be orderable through lifetechnologies.com. Customers will still be required to purchase these products through your existing sales or dealer channels. You can also contact your Thermo Fisher Scientific™ sales or dealer representative.

I’m not currently a Life Technologies™ product customer. What do I need to do so that I can order Life Technologies™ products?

Check to see if the appropriate Life Technologies™ legal entity is already set up as a vendor in your purchasing system. If not, please do so. You’ll find legal entity names, tax ID number and other necessary information on our vendor setup page.
Take some time to familiarize yourself with lifetechnologies.com and review the benefits of ordering online.
If you don’t already have a lifetechnologies.com web account, you can register nowto place orders for Life Technologies products or through our Customer Care team.

Is there any change to Life Technologies™ orders placed before January 26, 2015?

Your ordering process for Life Technologies™ products will not change.

When can I order Thermo Fisher™ products through lifetechnologies.com?

Once Thermo Scientific™ products are orderable on lifetechnologies.com, you will be notified.

If I order Thermo Scientific™ products through Fisher Scientific™ or another distributor/dealer, will anything change?

If you have a business relationship with any other Thermo Fisher Scientific™ entities, Fisher Scientific™ or other authorized distribution partners, this change does not affect how you transact business with these entities.

Will these Thermo Scientific™ products be available through the Fisher Scientific™ channel?

Thermo Scientific™ products and services that are available today through the Fisher Scientific™ channel will continue to be available through Fisher Scientific™.

SUPPLY CENTRE, ePROCUREMENT ANDON-SITE STOCKING PROGRAM

Will I be able to order Thermo Scientific™ products for my Life Technologies™ Supply Center, OSP through eProcurement?

Current customers who order through their eProcurement system or through their Life Technologies™ Supply Center do not need to take action. Your ordering process for Life Technologies™ products will not change. Thermo Scientific™ Onsite Stocking Program (OSP) and eProcurement customers do not need to take action and will be notified of upcoming changes to their account.

Will I still be able to find product information and place orders on the current web sites for these products?

See table below for information about each current website.

thermoscientificbio.com	On January 26, you will no longer be able to place orders on these sites and will be directed to lifetechnologies.com. In February, these sites will redirect all user traffic to the lifetechnologies.com website.

Product information and ordering for molecular biology, protein biology, antibodies, cellular analysis and instruments will be directed to lifetechnologies.com.
